Hope Ministry Institute Believes:
1. THE BIBLE We believe the Bible is God inspired.
2. THE TRINITY We believe that God is triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. THE FALL OF MAN Man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience, he fell from perfection.
4. THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION While we were still sinners Christ died for us, purchasing a pardon for all who believe in Him.
5. SALVATION THROUGH GRACE We have no righteousness of our own and must come to God through Jesus Christ.
6. REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS Upon sincere repentance and a wholehearted acceptance of Jesus, we are justified before God.
7. THE NEW BIRTH A very real change takes place in the life of those who accept Jesus as their Savior.
8. DAILY CHRISTIAN LIFE Each new day God brings new opportunities to grow in our relationship with Him.
9. BAPTISM AND COMMUNION Baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work. Communion is the commemoration of the Lord's Supper by the symbolical use of bread and juice.
10. BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to fill the believer with power to live a Christian life. Spirit baptism is after the same manner as in Bible days.
11. THE SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE It is the will of God that our lives exemplify the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit.
12. THE GIFTS AND FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT The Holy Spirit has gifts to give to all Christians; we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life.
13. MODERATION The experience and daily walk of a Christian should never lead them into extremes and fanaticisms.
14. DIVINE HEALING The power of God can heal the sick.
15. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST Christ will return one day to establish His kingdom and judge all creation.
16. CHURCH RELATIONSHIP Jesus asks us to support each other and to identify ourselves as Christians.
17. CIVIL GOVERNMENT Civil laws and governments should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God.
18. THE FINAL JUDGMENT One day we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God; and there, receive eternal life or death.
19. HEAVEN Heaven is the glorious eternal home for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
20. HELL Hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior.
21. EVANGELISM Telling non-Christians about Jesus is both a privilege and a command.
22. TITHING Giving is ultimately meant as a tangible expression of our appreciation for all Christ has done in saving us.
