The certificate in Pastoral Ministry is a program that allows students with various ministry objectives to acquire and engage with curriculum for either personal enrichment or for a focused ministry objective.  This pathway is intended to serve as a foundational experience to God’s Word, Theology, Doctrine, Christian life and ministry.  This program is helpful to those students who have been called to secular vocations, but who desire to obtain ministry skills in a Spirit-filled environment.  The Pastoral Ministry pathway is also a stepping-stone for those students who are preparing for vocational ministry and are pursuing a diploma in Church Ministry.  All courses in this program may be applied to the diploma pathway.  Students will select an area of emphasis for this pathway based on the following ministries:

•    Work Place Ministry
•    Mentoring/Coaching
•    Pastoral Care
•    Prayer Ministry
•    Missions

This program requires a minimum of 28 credit hours of which 27 hours will be in the core classes and at least one workshop or intensive for 1 credit in the area of emphasis.  Students who are enrolled full-time can complete this program in one year.
